Head Master Jonghyun Yi has been training since the age of 4 years old.
At 8 years old he knew that he wanted to become a Master of the martial arts and every step he took was to help achieve that goal.
At 17 he received his 1st dan and became 1 of 2 people in the history of MA Taekwondo Team to earn a gold medal at the Korean-American Olympic Festival.
Master Yi currently holds the rank of 7th Dan in Taekwondo, 6th Dan in both Hapkido and Gumdo.
He is a USAT Level 1 coach and is also a World Taekwondo licensed coach for both Poomsae as well as Sparring Athletes.
He was awarded honorary professorship by the Prestigious Korean National Sports University in 2016.
With 35 years of training and 20 years of teaching experience, Master Yi also majored in Physical Education and Child Psychology in college.
Master Yi continually passes down his love for martial arts and the benefits it holds by successfully raising a nationally competitive team into its 5th year, helping students prepare for life. He shows his students to not just talk the talk but walk the walk. His philosophy of martial arts translates to be able to coincide with normal day to day life. Motivating people to be better versions of themselves is a life long goal.
In his spare time, Master Yi loves to devise new ways of training, playing Tekken, snowboarding, hiking, spending time with his family, tuning cars, and enjoying life and the beauty it holds.
Strength and Conditioning Coach: Errol Bowes
Coach Errol holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo as well as certifications through NASM with a specialty in Strength and Conditioning and Kettle Bells. He is also a certified Nutrition specialist in Guidelines and Macros as well as a Certified TRX Instructor. With an extensive background in martial arts and fitness Coach Errol approaches fitness as a life long behavior modification where we have continuous improvement through age-appropriate programming with a specific focus given to cardiovascular and strength training in combination with balance and flexibility. He defines his sessions as simple, challenging, and efficient with an emphasis on proper form and mobility. His passion for fitness started at a young age through his love of martial arts training. Most importantly, he strives to provide clients with a positive and satisfying experience that inspires reassurance in their personal ability to fulfill their health goals and everything else faced on a day to day basis.

In martial arts, Coach Errol started Kung Fu at 5 years old and moved onto Taekwondo when he was 14 years old. He trained under Grandmaster Yi in 2012 and has earned his 1st degree black belt at 20 years old. Since then, he has competed for the Jamaican National Taekwondo Team for many years, where he placed 3rd in the Trinidad Open, placed 2nd at Puerto Rico Open, competed in the Canada Open in 2015, and also at the US Open 2016.
Coach Errol holds a certification in;
Personal Training through the National Academy Sports Medicine with specialization in Strength and Conditioning as well as Kettle Bells.
General Nutrition Cert specializing in Guidelines and Macros through Precision Nutrition and
Certified TRX Instructor

Instructor Sanjay Kandadi
Instructor Sanjay has been training since 2008.
Currently holding the rank of 2nd Dan; Instructor Sanjay is the Captain of our internationally competitive team, Evolution.
He is an All American Athlete who is in the top 10% of his division.
Instructor Sanjay is currently ranked 1st for his age, weight, and rank in USAT Sparring.
Placing 1st at the Applefest 5k in 2018, Sanjay enjoys playing and singing Indian music, programming with his father, and watching videos on YouTube.
